Whether you’ve inserted a new SIM or just forgotten your Telkom number, here are the easiest ways to find it:
Method 1: USSD Code
Dial *1# on your Telkom phone.
Your number will appear on screen immediately.
This is the quickest method, and it doesn’t require airtime or data.
Method 2: SMS or Call Someone
If you have airtime or bundles:

Send an SMS or make a call to a friend or family member.

They’ll see your number displayed on their device.
You can also send a “Please Call Me”:

*140*recipient’s number#and send.
The recipient will receive a message that includes your number.
Method 3: Use the Telkom App

Download the Telkom App from your device’s app store.

Log in or register with your Telkom SIM.

Your number will appear in your profile or account section.
Data or Wi-Fi is required for this method.
Method 4: Call Customer Care
Dial 180 from your Telkom SIM.
Follow the prompts or speak to an agent who can confirm your number.
Method 5: Check the SIM Starter Pack
If it’s a new SIM, your Telkom number may be printed on the starter pack or purchase slip.
