How to Access Your Vodacom Voicemail
If you're a Vodacom customer and need to retrieve your voicemail messages, there are several methods available.
From your Vodacom mobile, dial the 132 vodacom voicemail number to listen to your voicemail messages. This service is free and allows you to manage your messages directly.
2. Dial Your Own Number
Alternatively, you can dial your own Vodacom number, including the country code (e.g., +27 82 123 4567). When your voicemail greeting starts, press 1 to access your voicemail inbox. You'll be prompted to enter your voicemail PIN, which is 1111 by default unless you've changed it.
3. Access Voicemail While Roaming
If you're overseas, you can access your voicemail by dialing your number with the international format (e.g., +27 82 123 4567). When the voicemail greeting begins, press 1 and enter your PIN to retrieve your messages. Please note that standard international call rates apply.
4. Visual Voicemail for iPhone Users
For iPhone users, Vodacom offers a Visual Voicemail service that allows you to view and manage your voicemails directly from your device. To activate, send an SMS with the text "VVM On" to 123. To deactivate, send "VVM Off" to 123. Alternatively, you can call 111 from your Vodacom phone for assistance.
5. Voicemail 2 SMS Service
Vodacom also offers a Voicemail 2 SMS service, which converts your voicemail messages into text and sends them to you as SMS. This service is particularly useful if you prefer reading messages over listening to them. To activate, call 082 111 from your Vodacom phone or log in to your My Vodacom account.
