The All Blacks have named their squad for the crucial Rugby Championship test in Wellington at Sky Stadium this Saturday 13 September. Coach Scott Robertson has made six changes to the starting XV following last week’s 24-17 win at Eden Park.

Kick-off: 19:05 NZST / 09:05 SAST at Sky Stadium, Wellington.

  5. Du’Plessis Kirifi

  6. Finlay Christie

  7. Ruben Love

  8. Quinn Tupaea

Key Notes & Observations

  • Leroy Carter makes his test debut on the left wing.

  • Samisoni Taukei’aho starts at hooker in place of Codie Taylor (out under concussion protocols).

  • Will Jordan shifts to right wing; Damian McKenzie moves to fullback. This reshuffle in the back-three responds partly to Emoni Narawa’s rib injury.

  • Noah Hotham returns at scrum-half; Finlay Christie drops back to the bench.

  • The All Blacks made six changes in total to their starting XV compared to the previous test.

  • This match is crucial for the All Blacks: a win would end the Springboks’ title defence in the Rugby Championship.
